Slaughter Creek WQPL trail probably has the most access restrictions outside of Forest Ridge - there are more signs here than at any trail I've ever been to.
The trail itself is a nice 5 mile single track loop with a cutoff at the 2 or 3 mile point. Bikers go one way, hikers and horses go the other way. Not a lot of views or hills - kind of reminded me of the trails at the Wildflower Center in the same general area.
Be sure to check the Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter pages to see if it is open before making the drive down. There is no water, but there are a few portable toilets. Parking is very limited, and when it is full, that's it - no overflow parking.
Cute little greenbelt in a neighborhood

There is a nice little creek running next to this trail. Nothing to drive out of the way for, but a good place to run with a doggy.

This is very similar to Hamilton Pool, in that it is a grotto with a waterfall with people swimming and sunbathing. Very pleasant.
Lots of scrambling, great place

I've been here plenty of times before, and I went back today to find a decent amount of water in the river from the recent rains. Couldn't bring the dog over some of the ledges, so we hiked out on the red dirt trail that leads upstream just before you get to the stone overlook patio. Using that trail, you can get to the largest set of falls (the ones at the top) without a lot of scrambling.
Quiet, short, easy

This is an easy trail, and probably not worth the trouble unless you are already at the caverns or you are at Inks Lake. Very quiet, and the trail is well marked. The CCC exhibits and the cave are the main stars of this park, though.
