A lot of families, fitness walkers, and young couples just hanging out for the 1st 3/4 mile of the trail. Once you get past the suspension bridge there's only people who are there for the hike. This would be a great place to hike if you wanted to cool off in the stream during the hot summer days. The main part of the trail follows the stream almost all the way. Saw 4 Armadillo's along the path too!
Very rocky, not much of a trail...

Trail is VERY short then just vanishes. Most people there keep going without the trail and walk around the rocky area exploring the varios pools of water left by the river. When I was here the river was VERY LOW> I t was still only January so maybe it gets higher in the spring?
Great hike for the drive!

This was my first hike since recently moving to Texas from Idaho. I had heard htere wasn't much here in TX to see but this hike proved that wrong. Great scenery and wildlife! Next time I'll allow for a longer hike and see some of the other trails!
