We only ran across 3 other couples at this park and there was no one on the waterfall hike. It's kind of hard to find the start of the hike. Once you park, instead of heading toward the picnic area, head the opposite way. You'll see a wind gauge on your left and you can kind of make out a small trail.....follow that back into the woods. The water is so clear and beautiful at the falls.

This a great hike if you like to be around a lot of people. WE could hear the bats chirping as we walked under the Congress Avenue bridge. Many people were canoeing and kayaking on the lake. I think we're going to go back and rent one on another weekend.

WE hiked to crockett springs. There are so many varieties of scenery here. This has been one of my favorite hikes so far. I wish we would have had time to hike further. Trail is easily marked, but kind of difficult in places. I also encountered a poisonous snake along the way, so be careful!

This hike was really neat, however we kind of got confused about where the trail actually was after a while. We watched the rock climbers hike up the rock face for a little while and it's also nice to sit in the streams next to several small waterfalls.
