Some great, and no so great 30 things you'll never see in Austin again. Though a few of those predated my days in Austin, I'd lived there long enough to see some of those come and go. I miss it! Exiled on the west coast... |

Ah, yes, that's Austin!  These things may be gone, but Austin is always reinventing itself in strange and unusual ways. Well, hang out around Berkeley or The Castro awhile and you'll feel right at home. Besides, it was a self-imposed exile so don't expect too much sympathy.  |
